We are truly delighted to announce that Doom Bar amber ale has agreed a sponsorship deal with the club.
Rock-based brewery Sharp’s are one of the most recognisable breweries in the UK, and we look forward to wearing Doom Bar on our shirts with pride.
Rebels Club Secretary Rob Butland says the deal says a lot for the direction in which the club is heading.
“We are in no doubt about the significance of this deal as we continue to grow the sport in Cornwall and the South West. It’s a huge pat on the back for us. Sharp’s’ willingness to support the club is reassuring and we believe it further highlights us as a flagship club for the South West of England.”
Sharp’s Sales Manager Richard Smith said that this move was part of the brands long term commitments to many codes of Rugby. “As part of Sharps on going support across all rugby codes of union, 7’s and beach rugby I am delighted to have this fledging opportunity to add to this with an agreement with Cornish Rebels Rugby League team. I hope this addition gives the Rebels a helping hand in both their club development, and in turn the development of the sport in the region. The deal also gives Doom Bar added exposure in the North of England due to the attention drawn to the Rebels via their links with St Helens RFC and the rugby league communities of the North. We look forward to supporting the Rebels this summer in what we are hopeful will be a successful campaign for Cornish RugbyLeague.”
The season starts on May 1st and player sponsorship is available from just £20 on our 2016 sponsors page.
Pre-season training begins on Wednesday 6th April at Redruth RFC. 6:45pm. Anyone aged 16+ is welcome, regardless of Rugby League experience.
